Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Scholarships in Media Arts Cultures

The Media Arts Cultures program is a prestigious Erasmus Mundus joint master degree offered by a consortium of four universities. This two-year master’s program, comprising 120 ECTS credits over four semesters, culminates in a joint Master of Arts in Media Arts Cultures degree.

The consortium includes:

Additionally, influential global partners from the creative and cultural sectors such as Ars Electronica, DAM, FACT, and more, contribute to the program.

The MediaAC program is designed to meet the academic needs and demands of the Creative and Cultural Sector. This includes creative industries, digital businesses, and future-oriented digital museums, galleries, and archives.

 Eligibility Criteria:

- Applicants should have degrees in fields such as art history, cultural studies, media/communication studies, fine arts practice (media-related), cultural management, museology, art restoration, computer science, or other fields directly related to digital media, arts, or culture. Other fields may be considered by the Application Board.

- A first degree equivalent to a Bachelor’s (three years of studies or 180 ECTS) is required. For countries not using ECTS, comparable proof of study will be evaluated by the Admission Board.

- Proficiency in English at a level B2 (CEFR) is mandatory. Accepted tests include TOEFL (PBT: 550, CBT: 230, iBT: 80), Cambridge ESOL (C1), and IELTS (academic test: 6.5). Scores must be sent directly from the test center or presented as original/verified copies.
