The Rhodes Scholarships are renowned postgraduate awards supporting exceptional students from around the world to study at the University of Oxford. Scholarship Value/Inclusions/Duration:

The Rhodes Scholarship covers:

- All University and College fees

- A living stipend of £19,092 per annum (AY 2023/24)

- Settling-in allowance

- Health insurance

- Visa costs

- Two economy-class flights (to and from the UK at the beginning and end of the studies)

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the Rhodes Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Citizenship & Residency: Fulfill the citizenship and residency requirements for the Rhodes constituency you are applying to.

2. Age

- Typically aged 18-24 on 1st October 2024 (born after 1 October 1999 and on or before 2 October 2006).

    - For medical, dental, pharmaceutical, law, and engineering students: aged 18-25 (born after 1 October 1998 and before 2 October 2006).

    - For older candidates who completed their undergraduate degree later: under 27 on 1st October 2024 (born after 1 October 1997) and completed the first undergraduate degree on or after 1 October 2023.

3. Education: Must have completed an undergraduate degree with a First Class Honours Degree or equivalent. For courses like Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy, the highest university classification (e.g., Distinction) is required. Candidates with an Honours degree from outside their home country or those who have studied at the Master’s level in their country may have a higher chance of admission.

4. English Language: Must meet the University of Oxford’s English language proficiency requirements at the Higher Level.
