For the 2023 awards, the scholarship provides $37,207 per year. This amount helps cover both tuition fees and living expenses.
Who Can Apply?
The scholarship is open to international students who:
- Are commencing or already enrolled at the University of Sydney
- Have an outstanding academic record and research potential
- Have an unconditional offer of admission or are currently enrolled in a Master’s by research or PhD at the University of Sydney
How to Apply
If you are a new student, simply check the box to be considered for research scholarships when you fill out the admission application for your postgraduate research degree. There's no need for a separate scholarship application.
Application Deadlines
The scholarship applications are open year-round, but for research periods in 2025, note these deadlines:
- Research Periods 1 and 2 (2025): 13 September 2024
- Research Periods 3 and 4 (2025): 17 December 2024
